Vision & Values
We value loving God through word and action; we value God’s Word as the ultimate authority; we value growing together as an international body of believers.
What We Believe
About God
God is a triune being: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit who are equal in divine perfection (Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7).
About Christ
Christ is wholly God (Titus 2:13) and was wholly man (John 1:14, Romans 5:15), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-20) into the world without sin (2 Corinthians 5:21) as the substitute mankind’s sin (1 John 4:10).
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost to empower and comfort believers to carry out the work of God in the world (John 14:16-17, Luke 24:49, Acts 2:1-4)
About Salvation
Salvation is a free gift by grace through faith in Christ, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16-17, Romans 3:23-24, John 14:6). Salvation is received by belief in the heart and confession with the mouth through prayer (Romans 10:9-10).
About Eternal Security
All who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in Him and nothing is able to separate you from Him (John 10:27-30, John 3:36, John 5:24, Romans 8:35-39).
About God’s Children
When a person is saved they become a child of God (John 1:12). God then rewards the obedient (Revelation 22:12) and chastises the disobedient (Hebrews 12:5-7).
About the Bible
The Bible is the inspired, all-sufficient word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17) that is inerrant, infallible (Psalm 119:160), and forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89).
About Creation
God is the only creator and master over all things in the universe (Genesis 1:1, John 1:3) and then assigned mankind to care for have stewardship over the earth (Genesis 1:26-29).
About the Church
The church is a local, visible group (Acts 11:26) of saved, baptized believers (Acts 2:47) that are covenanted together (Acts 2:42) to carry out the the Great Commission, which is the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples in all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
About Church Leadership Positions
God established the positions of a pastoral elder (i.e., bishop, elder, or overseer) and deacon (Philippians 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:1, 1 Peter 5:1-5). God also specified qualifications for these leadership positions. A man must fit these qualifications in order to serve in a church leadership position (Titus 1:5-9, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Timothy 3:8-13).
About Baptism
Baptism is a command that Jesus Christ gave to His church with salvation by faith n Christ alone being the only prerequisite for baptism. The scriptural method described in the Bible is immersion. A person is baptized to publicly identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and to testify of their decision to live as a child of God.
About the Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is observed by a church body to remember the body and blood of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our sin.
